Happy Friday all!! Anything fun planned for this weekend? As for me, I am hoping to go get a haircut tonight. Tomorrow, Joel and I are going to try to work out in the morning, then we are off to Joel's nephew's 1st birthday party. Sunday should be pretty low-key...projects, errands, etc.
Onto the questions:
1. Do you embrace or dread snow/cold weather days?
I wouldn't say I "embrace" or "dread" them. I am definitely a warm weather girl and don't care much for the cold. That said, I live in MI, so cold weather is a fact of life, so I don't dread it. I would say my over-all attitude towards the cold is acceptance. My overall attitude towards Joel constantly setting the thermostat as 67 is defiance. I sneak it up to 69, which still requires me to practically wear a parka in the house. No, not really a fan of the cold.
2. Which game show or reality show could you totally win?
Survey says: Family Feud!!
3. What is your preferred climate?
For me, the absolute perfect weather is sunny, low 80's.
4. What do you buy every time you walk into the grocery store, no matter what?
Joel does the grocery shopping. Every time I go, it takes me me twice as long and I spend twice as much money! Though I do go periodically if I am shopping for a specific recipe, or if I am on a search for "Graham-friendly fare." So, that brings me to my answer, I absolutely cannot step foot in a grocery store without checking out their allergy-friendly section. I end up buying a special treat for Graham, and if I'm really lucky, I find a food that would be a nice addition to his regular diet.
5. If you see a spider/bug in the house, are you brave enough to kill it, or do you call for your hubby?
I am brave enough to ask Joel to take it outside. Then I hover, begging him to be careful, and crossing my fingers that he doesn't kill it in the process. Unless it's a scary bug, or one that bites or stings, then it must die.

67! Brrr..that is parka weather my friend! Should I tell you we keep ours at 73 and I`m still wearing 2 pairs of socks! :)
And how is it men can get in and out of the grocery stores so darn fast. Takes me forever and I still forget something!
Very revealing post Candice--we now have visions of you creeping around your house clad in a parka waiting for an unnoticed moment to pounce on the thermostat. Oh and on a break from studying strategy of previously recorded episodes of Family Feud.
I like to think that I adjust to the cold as well--still would prefer to be somewhere well south though.

My husband must be the total opposite of yours. He tries to sneak the heat up to 72 or 73 and that is sweating temperature for me. I like to keep it at 69 or 70.

Men! I don't know how they can go to the grocery, but the same things we would and spend less money! My husband does such a good job at it... I let him go every week! LOL.

I wish I could be my hubby to step in a grocery store. He despises it. He hates crowds, lacks patience, and usually ends up coming home with the wrong things. Needless to say, I am the primary grocery shopper. I think he does it on purpose though ;)
