Happy 3 months Little Love! That’s just one of the many nicknames we have for you. We also call you Macy (obviously), Macy Rose, Miss Macy, pumpkin, and beautiful. Beautiful you are! Oh my goodness, you are so gorgeous…exquisite! To my surprise and delight, your hair hasn’t fallen out, it has stayed dark, and your eyes are still bright blue. I hope none of this changes, as you are so beautiful and perfect as you are, though I am pretty sure I would think this regardless. Mommy loves to dress you up in frilly things and take pictures of you. Lucky for me, you don’t mind photo shoots. In your eyes, it’s just Mommy cooing all over you trying to get smiles.

You are generous with your smiles. Your smile is so bright and warm, it turns me into a pile of mush. You haven’t started laughing yet, though it sounds like you might soon. You are a very chatty girl. It started right around 2 months. Sometimes you will coo and babble on for a half hour with full-on expressions. I think you’re going to be our little chatterbox!

You are still rolling tummy to back daily. You are so strong. You push yourself up very high now and can hold yourself like that for 20 minutes or more! You don’t seem to mind tummy time nearly as much now that you are stronger. You are using your hands a lot more these days as well. It is so fun to watch you grow and change. Speaking of growing, you are wearing size 3-6 mos clothing and size 2 diapers, and you have the most adorable, roly poly thighs I have ever seen!

You are a great sleeper, sleeping longer and longer through the night. Last night you slept for 10 hours…wow! Usually it’s more like 8 or 9. Fantastic!

You are such an easy baby and a true delight! My favorite time with you is our nursing sessions. Our favorite position to nurse in is laying down facing each other, so cuddly and intimate. You look right into my eyes and you wrap your hand around my finger. Often you fall asleep, and then I’ll read with you snuggled against my body. What a great feeling!

I feel so blessed to be your mama! I love you sweet girl!
