My mom made a delicious spread of enchiladas, tostadas, refried bean, spanish rice, fruit, and all the mexican fixin's. Sooooo yummy!
We all showed some love for our favorite mustached septuagenarian. Everyone in this picture has a mustache.

No fiesta is complete without a pinata. I always loved pinatas as a kid. We often had them at family get togethers. So fun!
The pinata was pretty tough so my sister had an aluminum bat. It was so heavy she had to help Graham, but he took a few swipes. :)
Then he let the pros take over.
The birthday boy took a few swings as well.
In the end my sister Nickey ended up smashing it.
Last, but not least, cake!
Okay, so we didn't have 70 candles on the cake, but there were a lot, so he had a few helpers! All the kids at the party helped him, including Graham.

Your description of the food was killing me though since my wife is not a fan of Mexican food and I only get to treat myself maybe once a year.
