Five Question Friday!!

Happy Friday everyone!! What's on tap for this weekend? We had some plans that fell through, so mostly we are going to use this weekend to catch up on projects. Joel is going to paint the front room, I am going to a Mom 2 Mom sale, stuff like that.

This week this post is for my good friend, Scarlet, who says these are her favorite posts of mine and "Why don't you do them anymore?" So, here ya go dear. :)

1. What is your favorite sign of spring?

I love the sun!! I know it can be sunny in the winter as well, but there is something about spring sun. So bright, so vibrant, so warming! Let's me know that winter is on its way out and long walks and sidewalk chalk are in our near future!

2. What was your best birthday ever?

Last year's birthday is the first to come to mind. It was my 30th and Joel pulled out all the stops. I knew we were doing something, but didnt know what. It ended up being a Road Rally (that my team won) and then we all met up for dinner and drinks. It was a blast!!

3. What is your favorite dessert?

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream. Well, I do anyway!! I know it's nothing fancy, but I love it. I love it out of the carton, in a hot fudge sundae, in a cake, in ice cream bars, and my favorite being a PB Cup Flurry/Blizzard. YUM!!

4. What is the best excuse you've ever used to get out of a ticket?

It was the summer I turned 21, Joel and I had barely been dating a week or two and I was on my way back home from his house. It was pretty late, midnight or so I'd say, and I was going 20 over. I had a serious lead foot back then...I am much better now. Anyway, when the officer pulled me over he asked me why I was going so fast. I told him I didn't realize I was and that I think maybe I had fallen asleep. He smirked at me and went back to his car. Then he came back and told me to go home and get some rest. I don't know why I thought telling him I fell asleep would be a better excuse, but whatevs! I got off with a warning. :)

5. Do you wake up before your alarm, with your alarm, or after hitting snooze several times?

Joel wakes me up every morning. I hate the sound of an alarm clock, HATE!! Is there any more terrible way to be jarred out of bed? Almost every morning, when Joel wakes me up he has an english muffin in hand. I am not a morning person, and he is the sweetest!!
