Not Me! Monday

One day last week, I was particularly exhausted. Graham also seemed extra sleepy. Wondering whether we had contracted something I decided to let him sleep as much as he liked, as opposed to getting him up. His nap was running long and I missed him, so I went to check on him. He looked so cozy. It did not cross my mind that there was plenty of room in his crib for the both of us. This mama definitely did not climb into her son’s crib. Oh no, definitely not. I’m much too big and wouldn’t even think of it. Cribs are for babies after all. Therefore, we certainly didn’t snooze and cuddle. It was not bliss!

Last night while I was on the phone with Jamie, Joel gave Graham dinner. That was very nice of him, so I am certainly not going to tease him. Joel is very conscientious in making sure all food groups are represented. So, he would not give Graham toast and peas and call it good then tell me, “Don’t worry, he had A LOT of peas!” Daddies don’t do stuff like that. Overall, he still ate great over the course of the day, so no biggie, but still funny.
