The second term we continued with Clamber Club and added Toddlers Workshop, which focused a bit more on fine motor skills and music.
Then we took a term off as Mommy was headed to the US and Graham was receiving physical therapy twice weekly. The term off ended up being great for him as the focus on physical therapy helped get him where he needs to be to keep up with his peers. Now that he is nearly caught up on his gross motor milestones I wanted to take him to a class I heard about a while ago.
Kindermusik is a toddler music class. The focus is on moving to the beat of music, playing instruments, and story telling. Graham’s two favorites- music and books. Today was our first day and we both enjoyed it. Graham has changed a lot since his last term. He was a bit shy before, often laying back with Mommy and watching the action instead of getting in the middle of it. Today was different. It was so cute to watch him go to other mommies and even steal toys for other children. While I wouldn’t usually condone such behavior, it’s nice to see him blending in. The class was much more suited to Graham’s personality. It was small and low-key, only 5 moms and 5 babes. We’ve been to classes with more than double that which is a bit hectic, even for me. I am really happy with our new class and look forward to singing, swinging, swaying and shaking on Thursday mornings.
Oh and of course, Graham says “Happy birthday cousin Tony!”

Luke's in Kindermusik as well and seems to really enjoy it; though, he's like Graham used to be and sits back with me and watches other kids. BUT, this past Monday, he actually crawled away from me to see what was going on.....Glad to hear Graham's enjoying the class too!!!
Claire loves Kindermusik, they come to Victory Kids once a week! How old does the moms group go up to?
Hi Candice - I wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog, and for your condolences.
Take Care,
Lauren
Kindermusik is fun! We also did Moms& Miracles which was also fun. I took the Lil Miss to one term of Clamber club, but it really wasn't her scene.
Gramma, loves revisiting the younger photos with those cute thighs! How can a grandson be soooo cute? Hugs and kisses. xo
